The food is always good and we have been loyal customers that visit at least twice a month. We went last night and they handed us their updated menu and the prices have gone up 30% in one week. I recognize this phenomenon is not new to Carretas but we definitely took notice and will make it harder to return in the future. We will have to give one of the other 50 or so Mexican restaurants on the Northshore a try next time. Read more Read less

The server was very kind and made sure our orders were accurate. Fresh chips and salsa were given within the first 5 minutes of being seated. We had the sampler which came with so many things all fresh and hot. One of the dining mates had a vegetarian chimichanga with mushrooms that was enjoyable.
